'Printing' bus and send effects to their individual tracks

Hi, I'm using Live 7 and I want to share a session with a collaborator who's on Cubase.

I'd like to give him individual dry instrument tracks, AND also tracks that have the reverbs, delays and sidechain compression added.

I have set up my session with Delays and Reverbs on Sends, and I have a bus that receives signal from 5 tracks and sidechains it with the kick drum.

If I use Live's Render all tracks feature I get all the reverb data from every track is mashed together in a track called 'Send A' (same thing with the delays) and I get a track called 'Bus' which contains all 5 tracks of audio; sidechained nicely, but again, all mashed together in a single AIF.

Is there a way to separate out bus and send effects so they get printed to their individual tracks in render, or at least rendered separately rather than getting lumped together in their own audio file?

Surely this must be an important feature for people who want to tweak their reverbs for individual instruments in a mix, or work on a track with a lot of sidechaining.

As a workaround I tried copying my Sidechain compressor onto every track that was previously being sent to the sidechain bus, however, because the tracks were previously being effectively mixed down (to the bus) THEN sidechained to the kick, the volume changes were quite different when I put a sidechain on each individual track - ideally i'd rather not have to go through and tweak the individual thresholds on every tracks sidechain compressor, although I will if that's the only way to do this.

Suggestions? :?:

Cheers, K

Is anyone able to help? Do I need to clarify my question?

Thanks

Not entirely sure what you are asking for here.
Is there a way to separate out bus and send effects so they get printed to their individual tracks in render, or at least rendered separately rather than getting lumped together in their own audio file?
If you mean that you want your side-chain compressor to print a separate (compressed) track for each instrument that's feeding it - not going to happen. The compressor is a single track, it doesn't "know" how many things are feeding it - it's just reacting to whatever signal hits it. Same thing with sending multiple tracks to a single reverb.

If you want separate effected tracks, I think you'll need a separate effect for each track:
I tried copying my Sidechain compressor onto every track that was previously being sent to the sidechain bus...
This is the right approach.

Okay, so I need to put the sidechain compressor onto every track and adjust the threshold to match the effect of everything being bussed together?
