Ableton Forum

If load three different audio tracks with samples kick,claps and chord shots (no effects) and play them Ableton 8 2.2 reads cpu at 20 percent... and latency glitches occur as well.
I have the sample rate at 512 on a macbook pro 2.53 and 8 gigs of ram.
As well no other program is running... sure makes for limited options...
any suggestions?

Something is not entirely right. What verstion of OSX are you using? What type of sound card and how is it connected?
