Can i ask why everyone is so confrontational and pedantic on this forum?
People should remember that there are always going to be new users of live and if 'stupid' questions annoy you on this forum then you can always ignore them.Let someone else do the answering.
The kind of arguments and agressive posting i've seen on here would put most off when it could be a friendly and useful resource for all live users.

Finding out would not be hard. There's a search function right there at the top of the forum, there's the specs on the main site, and the lack of MP3 import is mentioned in most reviews of Live. So why does this question come up all the time? Because people are too lazy to do their own research. The internet is not for asking questions - it's for doing research. This requires effort. I'm very sorry.

??....since when?....i didnt realise there was a rule on the internet about not asking questions.
It seems to me that some people just can't resist throwing their weight about on the net. This forum could be very useful for all live users but as it stands its like a high school playground.

too much sugar in your coffee pause, c'mon this forum is for everyone even folks not good at doing research, personaly i like it when people repeat questions that have been answered cause half the time information gets updated that way with any changes or new answers. so.... tis a good ting.

BTW, folks, what do you use to convert?
I have hold in to an old version off dBPowerAMP (later it was not free anymore, so maybe I am a tiny bit illegal?)
And, for people thats wants mp3 as source (I don't need it), is there a plug that might just read mp3 it and put it out to Live for resampling?

OK, I phrased that badly. You should not take advantage of those who know more than you when the information is there for the finding.
Do I phone the expert or do I read the article that he wrote for the encyclopedia?

I'm not throwing my weight about and I didn't go to "high school"... But how many times per week does this question come up? Almost as many times as someone asks 'what's the best condensor for under a ton' at soundonsound.com.
