Unable the "back to arrangement"-button

Hi everyone,
I need help with a problem. Been searching the forums for an answer, with no luck though.
I have to come up with a way to turn off the "back to arrangement"-button automatically. Here's my situation - I have this big arrangement, with lots of video and audio, in the "arrangement view". What I want to do is being able to move freely between different points in this arrangement. I have set up a number of locators in the arrangement view, that are automated via midi, so that I jump to locator 1 when I send a Note C4 midi message, to locator 2 when I send a "Note C#4 midi message and so on. These notes are being sent from within session view, from a midi track, via IAC midi channel 3. In this way, I can arrange different scenes, so that I jump to the location in my arrangement that I want, in the right order, with just the click of my foot on a midi foot controller. So far everything's fine.
But - everytime I launch a scene from within session view, the "back to arrangement"-button lights up, and this function mutes all audio being played from my arrangement. Veeery frustrating.
I've tried to fool ableton by automating a midi message directly after my "launch scene"-message, that turns off the "back-to-arrangement"-button. But for some reason it doesn't work. I can send the message directly from a midi keyboard, but when the message is being sent from within a slot in the session view, the message itself makes the "back to arrangement"-button light up, I guess.
So - please, pretty please, help me out here if you've got a solution.
Thanks
