Need Soldering/Electronics Help - Modding Strobelight

Music related, don't worry. Essentially, I have a strobe light that has the option for sound reactivity and I want to swap the internal piezoelectric mic for a 1/4" input so I can run a little click track from ableton into the strobe to get spot on strobe light cues.
With other circuit bending projects, I've soldered a small 1/4" output where the speaker would go by just swapping the red and black wires over to the new input. With this piezoelectric mic i'm not sure quite how it would work.
