I`m talking about 24-bit 48khz wav files, if anyone knows where i can buy them, over internet or download them for free...?
I use mostly drums and bass, percussion....

i use www.loopmasters.com ...usually has all different kinds of samples and sample packs by different companies....i also use sounds to sample....they are sometimes a little cheaper than loopmasters....but their website is a little more annoying, particularly when trying to demo sounds.

worst case scenario they're not what you're looking for.

Also, you can check out magazines like Computer Music or Future Music what they offer any given month. Their samples are 24bit and offer different styles every month... plus you get a magazine.

I`m not sure if i can synthesize drum sample on my PC to be in a higher quality than a 24-bit 48 or 92khz sample...?

Hey sorry for going off topic a little but am just curious in a geeky way lol why the need for 24 bit 48 or higher?, reason i ask is uncase im missing something that peoples doing, ive still used 16bit/44100?.

I did before bounce to 24 but could tell little difference and a label i was with always bounced releases down to that depth with labelworx mastering.

Yeah im just curious as to what people find with that? soz for side topic but saves asking a whole new thread lol.

^ there's not too much benefit unless you're playing your mix from your DAW or selling sample DVDs. there might be some use for odd jobs (5.1 sound scrores) here and there but for making audio CDs and such you have to render at 16 bit 44.1 k anyway... so all you're doing is removing whatever perceived benefit you thought you had as soon as you decide that you're finished.

it's probably the cause of countless "Live ruined my track", "it sounds different in Logic" type threads.

As the "H20nly" said, i DO play my live set from DAW, so lets say that is one of the main reason

Still i would like to synthesize my own samples rather than use recorded, but i doubt i can do that in such quality :-/
