In the email it says if you lucky person pay 50$ you can admit one of your songs for remixing by Twista but only one will be selected from the many we recieve!!
LOL, seriously first they try charging for remix stems to replace the falling sales and now we come to this, only thing this does to me is say 3 things!
1. Music industry is really starting to just live off the backs of aspiring musicians, it seems to becoming more and more apparent that its not in the industrys needs to sign new talent up but rather keep them unsigned and dangle a carrot in front of them, that way the money they make off this kinda shit would replace them, which has a musician disgusts me that some labels have swept to a all new level of shittyness!.
2. That the label(s) doing it are scrapping the barrell and are desperate
3. That twista is damagining his own reputation if he has one already.
Course this just my view so dont take offence if you like to pay to remix or send tracks to a remix competition, i just personally think its crazy.
Anyway random and got me thinkin about scene and stuff, i know at least 2 guys from my uni class that would do it! must wouldnt though thank fuck !
