Ableton Forum

Ive been using live for ages but I rarely save sampler/simpler presets. The reason being that if I record some audio and drag it into sampler/simpler and then save a preset I then have to save the project so that the audio file "still exists" i know Ive got this kinda backwards, but how do I save an audio file to a particular file without having to save the project?

Can audio files actually be saved IN the preset?
