Ableton Forum

I'm trying to run my Kaoss Pad 3 as a MIDI controller inside Ableton Live 8 and it works for about 10 minutes before dropping out.
Ableton will then give me a message telling me the External Sync is gone and everything stops responding.

Anyone know of a solution?

Anyway, is there as specific reason for using the KP3 as a MIDI-Master ?
I found the KP3 not to be the most reliable when it comes to handling MIDI Data.
