Ableton on EeePC?

Hi guys I wondering it can be possible to run Live on Intel Atom Dual-Core N570 (1.6GHz), 2GB RAM, and for optimum performance I will buy Windows 2000. Ofcourse i must buy Eee PC without windows to run 2000 version
I will launch only samples, no instruments / vst's etc.

Why windows 2000? IIRC there were major improvements in USB and "multimedia" handling in XP.
Also I think with the Eee's you can get/make very slimmed down XP installs (optimized for the HW).

should be worth it's weight...
(the cpu isn't gonna hold much processing I suppose..)
oh..and I also don't understand you wanting win2k over xp..
