Hey so besides the basics of compressing to the kick, how do I avoid all the synths sounding muffled as they rapidly compress to the kick thats going faster and faster?

Assuming your talking about sidechain compression. Either set up the release properly or automate it to compensate for faster sections.

Have a second, muted kick channel with all 4/4 kicks running the whole length of the track.
Use that as the sidechain input instead.
