so ill start off every track the same and when i draw in notes into the piano roll, all notes are at the same velocity about 96. but somewhere along the way after ive done my main section and then go to make the rest of the track, the velocity changes on all new notes i draw in. it drops to like 64. why is that and how can i fix it bc, its damn annoying. i hate having to go back and fix all the velocities in the process of making new sections. its not a problem for melodic channels cuz i play those out, but i do my midi for drums by drawing. (if this makes a difference, i use battery for my drums).

hope you guys can help, thanks a bunch, lata

Are you using Keyboard mode (little keyboard symbol lit up in the upper right of Live)? Is so, keys C and V will change the velocity, keys Z and X will change the transpose.

Stick it in draw mode (pen/pencil button at top or use Cmd/Ctrl-B). Hold Cmd/Ctrl over a note you've drawn and drag up down to change the volume of it. All the notes you then draw (or just click to add if you turn draw mode off again) will be that last volume.
