VST Plug-in System Folder crashes Live 8

I recently switched to Live 8. When I try to install VSTs like NI Massive or impOSCar, they do not show up on Live. I had set up a custom VST folder, and I thought maybe I had to turn on the VST system folder. When I try doing this, Live automaticly shuts down. I've tried many times. I want to use my vet/au plugins
. . . Help?

You may need to uninstall the vsts you having problem with in the remove programmes in windows and then install again making a new registry entry and then they will work once you restart programme as long as there in same folder as the rest of them, other then that i have no idea mate, usually its either that a simple conflict issue which just install again and ableton will pick them up or which im not suggesting ofc there warez software in which they crashing obviously because there unstable etc.,
