I'm thinking of buying a new mac w/Lion which will need to run live 8.2.6. I have a desktop with live 8.2 and snow leopard on it. Will I have to update the desktop to Lion or can I use 8.2.6 on the laptop w/lion and then still open the sessions in 8.2 on my desktop w/ SL on it? Would I need to update my desktop to 8.2.6 and will this run on SL or only on lion??
Thanks

You won't need to update the operating system.
But I'm not sure about 8.2 opening files that are saved by 8.2.6

8.2.6 runs on snow leopard.

everything from 8.1.4 until now is forwards- and backwards-compatible within that range.

I am planning to download Live Suite 8.2.7 - but should I first upgrade the operating system to Lion (I have Snow Leopard and Live Suite 8.2.5)? Thanks.

It doesn't matter which order. The files are independent.

Ok, thanks man!

Is 8.2.7 compatible with Snow leopard though, or would you warmly recommend me to buy the Lion?
