Live 4.1, DP 4.52, DAE 6.4 - re-wire not working!

I'm trying to use Live via re-wire in Digital Performer 4.52 and it's not working. I add an aux track and scroll through the inputs and no "Ableton: Live." I can get the inputs to show up when I am in MAS mode, but I need it to work while in DAE so I can use TDM plugins. I'm using Digidesign MIX 24 hardware. Can this work? Has anybody been able to make this work? Help!
