Any one have this?Works good?or not?
I was afraid of that. (sorry for the jack but my question may help VAKIS) I'm trying to help my bandmate choose a sound card for his laptop. At minimum he needs 2 outs (one could be the headphone out). anyone have suggestions. (BTW ibook w/ osx) I currentlly have the Emu 1820 but that is out of his price range not for laptops and PC only. Does the M-audio firewire solo have a seperate out for headphones rather than just playing what is coming out of the main outs. thnx.sweetjesus wrote:I have it running on a PC.
It's fine and quite handy. The headphone outs don't give you seperate cueing channels though.
For 2 outs go Echo.divonic wrote:I was afraid of that. (sorry for the jack but my question may help VAKIS) I'm trying to help my bandmate choose a sound card for his laptop. I also have a Layla24 and can assure you echo make quality products.
I highly recommend visiting the Digi DUC and asking there. You'll get better, more accurate feedback.PrOgReSS wrote:I'm just curious if anybody else here running an MBoX is using it soley for audio outs to their monitors?
