Korg MicroKorg Synth & audio dj 2

Hi, so I've just moved over to Ableton. I have an audio dj 2 sound card from NI. 
I can't figure out how to get ableton to read it. I have a korg Microkorg synthesizer, and i want to record the sound from it into ableton.
I know i have to connect the synth into my sound card, but idk how to get ableton to read the sound card.
Also when i hook my synth up ableton, in the midi preferences it only picks up the out of the synth, i guess because i don't have it connected via sound card...
If anyone can help or give me step by step directions would be greatly appreciated
