hi
i've really been getting into corpus lately. i run my acoustic drumset through live and have been experimenting with corpus, getting some crazy sounds. There is very little out there regaurding corpus in the tutorial world. i really enjoy this effect, but have no idea what i'm doing. i'm just turning knobs till it sounds neat or load presets and fk with them.
If anyone has any cool suggestions or tips for corpus please respond.

corpus is my new favorite effect!!!!!
heres something cool, when you record your drums, use another track without corpus on it...so it records the corpus track and the drum track at the same time. (or just record dry and duplicate the track and put a corpus on it) then de-tune the corpus (but make sure you tune it in key) you can get some cool bass going on. when i first started i maxed all the settings out, but i learned it actually locks in with your beat better if you turn the decay down.
you can also add a ping pong delay and some reverb and tune it around C3 and set it to "string" and get a cool droney type deal going on.
keep messing with it....its pretty awesome!! i don't think there is a wrong way to use it.

the midi sidechain is super cool on this effect. able to play melodies on drums very easily. Corpus rules!!!1
