I have produced some music for video using live. I edited the video in Premiere Elements to a tempo track I made in ableton. Basically I made a simple 2/4 kick and snare and them imported into Premiere Elements as a tempo guide track. Then I edited the video to that. After that, I imported that video into ableton live, set the correct tempo, and produced the real music for the video.
