hi all,

so i've recently moved systems to a new laptop.

How can I turn-off looped previewing for short files?

I've got loads of short (less than a second) AIFFs that I'm using as percussion sources. At the moment, Live is previewing them in a looped manner, which results in a kind of machine gun-esque sound. I'd rather they sound as one-shots instead.

I've been through the preferences and the manual, but not found the answer I'm after.

regards,
sam

Hit the 'Raw' button next to the little preview soundwave box. How the previews behave when not 'raw' is determined by the 'Loop/Warp Short Samples' option under 'Record/Warp/Launch' in preferences.
