Ableton Forum

hi
ableton 8 on pc, is opening and working fine, but one set im trying
to open up, crashes ableton, saying a serious program error has occured
live will shut down after this message is closed.

ive tried opening the set from the actual file, from the browser, from
file menu....ive tried to drag the set onto ableton arrange page, crashes...with
above message.

can anyone help or suggest a work around? or how to find the cause of this?

i think it was one particluar track (with guitar audio recorded into it)
as when i try to audition it (before opening set) it crashed.
i do recall recording guitar into ableton.....and then making lots of clips in diff tracks....

can i recover this set somehow?
