Samples & Test tone making a popping noise

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to Ableton and am running into an issue with very annoying popping noise happening when playing mostly kick drum samples, even in RAW mode. The noise is a small click or pop that occurs at the end of many samples. I'm using a Creative Fatality Pro sound card and have tried both ASIO mode (w/ and w/o Bitmatched playback) and traditional non ASIO mode. I've also set ASIO mode in Ableton and have tried to set the latency all the way to max but this still occurs.

The occur occurs even on a sample cleanly cut to a zero point in the waveform at the beginning and end.

This also occurs at the very end of the test tone when the tone shuts off.

I'm unsure if this is Ableton or my sound card, but I've seen others speak of similar issues with Ableton... is there a fix for this? I'm a new buyer of Ableton and fairly new to production and this is getting discouraging. :( Many thanks for any input to point me in the right direction!

Edit: I disabled warping, but still get the click at the very end of a test tone. Is that normal?

Does your soundcard do the same thing with any other programs?

Generally, I'd guess (after eliminating other things) that it might be you're having a 'DC-offset', that the 'zero-level' sent out is not actually zero but offset a bit.
And then when the sample is finished the card turns off its output - causing the speakers to 'pop back' to neutral...

But I'm just guessing here. :|
