If anyone out there is good with midi stuff, let me know. I'm looking for someone to help me get this thing running as a controller for a live looping setup. I had previously owned a Korg KP3 and used it almost entirely for its looping. I'm now hoping to get a similar thing going with my Launchpad. Having more loop banks, as well as loop banks for different lengths would be nice. I really suck at setting this up on my own and have gotten tired of trying. If someone can do it for me I'll toss you some cash in exchange for your time. Just hit me up.

Click below, Oktopad... Need max4live.... Blatant plug...
Assuming of course you're talking about looping audio clips.... For looping midi you'll probably need to keep looking...
Cheers

before i take the plunge and purchase, i have an important question. im running live instruments in through an alesis multimix 16 usb 2.0. As such, each instrument is run into its own separate track. Will that be an issue with the looper feature? Does it have to loop from the same track?

Hi There, think we have different definitions of looping in mind, i'm talking about on th efly looping of prerecorded audio and midi clips, i think your talking more about a stompbox style of live looping?
Cheers

i believe you're right about that. i'm thinking of looping live tracks as i play them, stompbox style. it seems octop4d isn't what im looking for. you've obviously got some talent in setthing these things up, care to talk via PM about my commissioning what I need?

Hmmmm. If you already have the LAunchpad and your just looking to use it to record and loop on the fly, I'd say its a pretty simple request. Thats pretty much what its made for. Push a pad, w/ metronome on, record, push again when finished, it plays in time.
