I have created a template file for using an older Korg MicroKorg on Ableton. Its a sort of Program auditioner with individual midi clips for each of the 128 programs. It allows me to change programs quickly using a lunchpad. Hope it will be handy for others and it should be easy to do one for every hardware synth out there. If you create one based on this template then add it here so that the resource builds up.
