Been thinking about buying it at on $29 seems quite cheap but just wondering what peoples opinions are on it?
And what exactly it does (if I can replicate it in Live)?

It looks like a practical joke to me.

They can suck the $29 out of my ass first, then maybe I'll try it.

I use it a lot. Especially with bass and drum buss. It's a brick wall limiter / saturator. You need to watch your input level though. It has a gain knob for input signal but I've found that using Live's own Utility plugin gives more precise results.

Anyone have it working with the new 64-bit beta of Live? I can't seem to find it in my plugin folder in Live.

Using it, loving it (32bjt)

Works well with bass and drums, especially snares. I'm also using it for boosting guitars.

No idea what it does though, but i don't know anything that sounds comparable. Sometimes it's just exactly the right thing. At least for me.

@funken: u got ur mac fixed? *cough

I use it on everything-it just fattens stuff up-what more do you want?!

The more you turn it up-the greasier the sound

Yeah, I use it as well, it's great for heavy, dirty smashed sounds. If you want clean limiting, it's definitely the wrong tool, bonus points for the easy-to-understand GUI, rage-face limiting/saturation.

it's supposed to be good if you dont have the funds for the Decapitator & Devil-Loc plug. tube Saturators and dirty compressors make bass and drums cut through the mix without making them sound shit.

if you want 32bit plugs in Live 64bit try Jbridge it has a demo works for mac or PC and is £15 it runs 32bit plugs in 64bit DAWS.

Gotta try that. The installer gives the option to install 64 bit but as I said, I can't get it to work.

You should be able to get similar results with saturator followed by a limiter.

My friend had a copy, toyed with a little.
Just squashes your sound and adds a bunch of distorion.

Not worth near 30$ for me.

Great on the master channel, not much, about 3% max.
