I'm programming a light show via MIDI note triggering from within Ableton Live.

There's a little latency in the light, which I would like to be in perfect sync with breaks etc.

I could solve the problem by moving all the MIDI notes to the left (maybe a 16th note or a 32nd note depending on the track tempo), but I would like not to do that, so I can program the rhythms/breaks like they really are.

So it is possible to make some kind of "the opposit of latency" to all the MIDI notes on a specific track to solve my problem? I don't know the right word/term for the subject, but I think you'll understand me.

There is a per-track latency compensation setting.

Can you be more specific? Where can I find that setting? I just looked in the reference manual, but can only find "latency" together with audio effects and not MIDI effects. And that's only for making "true" latency, and not the kind of "opposit latency" that I'm asking for.

Look at the right side, there are a bunch of buttons along the side: 'I-O' (I/O), 'S | R' (send/ret), 'M' (mixer), 'D' (track delays) and 'X' (cross fader).

Click on the 'D' and you should see a field below (session)/to the right (arrange) of each track where you can set track delay in milliseconds.
