Hey guys,
I'm new to Ableton. Just want to know if there's a plug-in i can buy from Ableton that is a 16 beat sequencer drum machine - like Boom on Pro Tools or Izotope's iDrum ?
Thanks.

Nope, not really.
Nearest thing in Live is using a drumrack or impulse and a 1 bar clip.

Well, you already mentioned iDrum and it works fine in Abelton Live... but no, there's no built-in in classic drum sequencer in Ableton Live beyond using drumracks or Impulse with midi clips.
That's what plug-ins are for. They add features the program doesn't already have.
Have you tried the demo of the iDrum plug-in?

Thanks. Izotope's IDrum has like 20 sounds. I posted this message on the Pro Tools forum too. Someone suggested NI Battery 3. It has 4000 sounds. And you can do that trick of writing in the midi editor once sounds are assigned to a key. Marvelous.

Battery is nice but it's not quite as handy as using the built in drumracks in Ableton Live because you have to guess which key plays which sample.
Drumracks are nice.
