Alesis Control Pad

Hi. Can someone give some VERY SIMPLE instructions on how to setup control pad thru ableton 7. I was hoping that I could just plug it in and load up an impulse drum kit and go from there. I sort of know how to get individual drums to play but I just want to play a whole drum kit on one midi track.
hope this is an easy solution.

I am running native instruments Kontrol as interface.

I have the Alesis Control Pad, the easiest way to make it work is to make a drum rack and re-map the control pad's midi notes or move the drum sound to the pad being triggered. It probably works very similar in Kontrol. Good Luck!
