Recording at 24/192?

I don't see 192kHz in the drop down box for recording resolution, it only goes up to 96kHz. I have Ableton Live lite 8. Thanks for any help!
I believe it may be related to your soundcard? Does your soundcard support 192khz? In any case... you don't really need to record at 192khz. Unless you really really really need to capture those subtle nuances at 96000hz, five times higher than the range of human hearing.
96khz is ample, and it's still overkill in my opinion.
