How do I fix that? Tried buffer settings. Its a very fast computer so I doubt its a limitation there. Maybe its a graphics card thing?
Its a quad windows xp machine w/ 3gigs ram.
Thanks.

same kind of issue here on mac, if i select a track where the chain is closed to only macro its fine, but if the rack is expanded, it beachballs for a few weconds and glitch the audio out
on a related note, how come the track selection is not instantaneous? i want to be able to press track select and IMMEDIATELY tweak knobs, but there always like 1 second where the knobs wont do squat on neither the previous track nor the newly selected one, HUGE bug and a total show stopper

Anyone? I noticed that if the live set is open for a long time the problem gets less and less, which is weird. Did quite a bit of searching on this subject and found that it's been a problem for some for quite some time. So what's the definitive answer?

Hey I found a solution. Go into midi preferences and open the expanded options for the midi in's and out's and change the device type from Direct music to MME. clicks and pops instantly gone.
