Automation Feeback problems

If I assign a knob on my bcr2000 to the master volume slider Live doesn't initialise the controller feedback, so there is a jump in volume when the controller is first touched.
If a rotary control is assigned for scene selection there is no feedback if the scene is changed using the mouse or keyboard.
