Hi,

I have Altiverb v6.2.3 running as an Audio Units plug-in within Live 8.2.3, all on a Mac Mini running OS X 10.6.8. Generally all is well, but I am having trouble automating Altiverb's patch recalling.

Altiverb uses MIDI Program Change messages as triggers to change reverb patches. I've tried setting this up using Live's MIDI Mapper (supplying the Program Change messages from QLab) but Live seems to interpret Program Change as Pitchbend, so Altiverb doesn't respond.

Can Live handle incoming Program Change messages directly? Why am I seeing Pitchbend messages instead?

i have the same exact issue. but it's weird because i can send program change messages from my midi controller to Live 8 and it works on some soft synths such as Pro-53. and on max/msp i can see those messages coming in as program change messages, but Live interprets them as pitch bend data.
