launching clips problem (some looped, some automatic)

Hey,
Here's what I'm trying to do. I have a song with each section in a new clip. Some of them loop indefinitely until, using select next scene on launch, I press the enter key to trigger the next clip. This works great. Others have no loop and, using the follow action launch setting, the next clip is automatically triggered when the non looping clip is done. This also works great.
The problem is, when the next clip is automatically triggered using follow action, the enter key's functionality does not follow suit. In other words, the enter key will retrigger the same clip so I have to press it twice, once to trigger the clip that was already playing and once to move on.
Sorry I know that was confusing. Let me know if I need to clarify anything and if you can think of any solutions.
