Very cool track Sascha! Exactly the kind of blend between tech and true musical instruments that I strive for.

How do you like the TSAR-1 reverb? I'm considering buying it, but I'm also reading good stories about the Aether reverb by 2caudio.

I'm demoing Aether verb and it sounds pretty good. It offers lots of tweaking possibilities, but also hits my CPU pretty hard. Since I don't have an iLok yet, I can't compare it to the TSAR-1 sadly.

I once owned a Plate 140 emulation before I switched to Mac, and I'm hoping that the TSAR verb will fill that void of having just a great sounding reverb that adds a pleasant, musical shadow to sounds without hearing a obvious reverb.

Would be great if you could share your experiences, many thanks!

edit: the TSAR-1 sounds very musical and rich at 3:24 :)

edit 2: is this also the TSAR-1? http://www.reverbnation.com/artist/song_details/4769064

Hello

Thanks for your comment !

To your edit 1 : yes, TSAR is REALLY musical !!!
To answer to your edit 2 : the reverb used in Fusion is the native Ableton reverb !

I tried "all" the reverbs out there and my choice was the TSAR-1.
First, I owned other Plugins from Softube (tube tech, summit) and I really like them !!!
I also liked the Aether reverb ... but the TSAR was exactly what I was looking for (not so many tweaking possibilities).
I think it has a Signature sound and is very very musical (enhancing the audio signal in a very natural way).
But TSAR is also very CPU heavy ... it takes 18% on my macpro 2 X 2,26 GHz Quad-Core (intel Xeon)
(...behind TSAR there are 4 engines running together... L>L, R>R, L>R, R>L )

Cheers mate, I've just placed my order at Thomann. It was on my wantlist for a long time now. Recently I noticed that 2caudio has an end of the year-sale which lowered the price of Aether to that of TSAR-1, but after some demoing I too think that less tweaking options is ok for my purposes. I favor character and musicality over everything else.

Say hello to beautiful Berlin for me; I've lived there for one year until last September, have been missing it since :)

Hey

I think you will enjoy TSAR as it is one of the best and most beautiful reverbs out there !
And I also think that less tweaking possibilities will bring you more musicality ( just think of Live's workflow! ).
TSAR just sits well in the mix in every situation and that's what a producer should be looking for ... it's sounds warm but detailed ... big and natural... and it's a pleasure to deal with the parameters.

I will say hello to Berlin :)))

Keep on making good music !
