Mac is not best choice for digital audio workstation anymore.
- Ordinray unsupportive customer serivice
- Charging too high price for customize
- Rediculous I/O port strategy - Mac head "Hey! Where is my firewire port?!"
- Bad designed system - Mac head "Wats teh hell is going on! My mac is smoking!"

I just don't get how people can have such feelings towards a OS. Use whatever you think is best.
I own both a Windows 7 desktop and a 2011 MacBook Pro and both have their uses. In terms of real-live (audio) perfomance, my MacBook is winning.

What about the selfish GUI? Surely you can't use that with a good conscience.

I have no feeling. I have witnessed the data and posted the URL. I gave objective opinion based from the data and example. You still have choice. No need to worry.

I clearly stated "digital audio workstation". Don't bring other factor from outside of the topic. Also, you rather mixed up OS and one of the physical products, which cuased your argument failed. No doubt, as I said first, Mac is not best choice for digital audio workstation anymore.

so when you mentioned the GUI you were not talking the OS at all because i think the GUI of the OS is handled by the... OS
but like you said lets get this back to the real subject which is MAC or PC which is a great discussion because i've always struggled to find such a topic using google
that reminds me i must start a Live9 thread. thats another subject i've never seen discussed anywhere...

Thanks for settling that. Now: What kind of bear is best?
Objectively speaking, and only based on data, mind you. Bonus points if you can cite a five-part study.

It's one of example user encountered. I didn't say everyone said so. That's why I linked to video. Needless to say, GUI is almost equal the user experience for like us who are not programmer, when using OS.

I used a first generation Mac when Windows didn't even exist (DOS only!) and have used both OSes ever since. My personal experience for music applications is that I have always had less problems with Mac OS, but both do the job. Spend your money as you see fit.

Pricy
Ordinray unsupportive customer serivice
Charging too high price for customize
Rediculous I/O port strategy - Mac head "Hey! Where is my firewire port?!"
Bad designed system - Mac head "Wats teh hell is going on! My mac is smoking!"
Selfish designed GUI - Mac head "That's easy for mac because mac has best GUI. Let me see.... eh ah.."
Bad cost-performance
Low performance
Phtt...your PC isn't even powerful enough to run spell check.
