Mackie MCU Pro Users Experiece

Anyone here using an MCU Pro?
I have just upgraded my control to an MCU pro (from a BCF2000) which gives me access to all the functions I want. It works very well and I am pretty pleased with it so far.
One thing is that the scribble strip displays the Track Name on the top line and the Data on the bottom line. What I have noticed that any data displayed on the bottom line is replaced by ............ if that channel has any signal activity.
Does anyone know why this is? It makes it a little hard to navigate plugins when their names are not displayed.
I am using currently Ableton Live LE 8.2 but have just taken on the special offer and purchased an upgrade to Live Suite to get access to more tracks.
