i dont care if this is noob or what but its frustrating the shit outta me. all im trying to do is automate a ping pong onto an audio sample. i have the sample flagged down to size and i go into envelope section of clip in session view, selcet on the top drop down ping pong, bottom is feedback. create 2 points for the effect to begin and reach its peak right around the end of the clip. the effect fails to react no matter what ive done. I tried to automate in arrangement and freeze the clip, then copy it to another track and failed again. anyone have any idea on why my envelope isnt working or what stupid thing im doing wrong please enlighten me.

turn the dial all the way up.

the clip envelopes work relative to the device's actual settings.
so if the dial is at half way, the clip envelope at 100% will open up the dial half way.
you'll get the hang of it.

It would be cool if there was the posibility to switch between absolute and relative.

so that you could still use them the way they work now, but also use them like if they had not been automated..free otherways they are always reseting themselves to whatever position you automated them

what dial? thats the purpose of the automation is to turn the dry/wet dial itself. it doesnt seem you can get the same reaction from leaving a dial all the way up compared to automation climbing slowly?
confusing post
