Live 8.2.6 Crash After Installing Antares Harmony efx vst.

Hello members! I need help! I purchased and installed the Antares Harmony efx Vocal Harmony Generator, Version 1 (VST) on my PC (Vista Home Premium) to use with Ableton Suite 8.2.6. Harmony efx installed properly and also required an iLok key account which seemed to also work fine . Well it all worked for about an hour then it crashed Suite and parts of my computer. Of course later on Antares support said they don't know why Harmony efx crashes Ableton and are working on a fix or patch it as we speak. They have it listed as not recommended for Ableton on their site but, naturally the guitar heads in Guitar Center where I bought the software assured me that it would work completely with Ableton. My fault for listening to them! Anyway, I repaired my computer's problems (I think) but I can't get Ableton Suite to open at all, even though I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it. No go! I get the Ableton start up screen which first says:

"Creating a bug report pack"

Then it says:

"Initializing the application"

Then, that's it. Ableton Suite hangs up right there and the computer has to be rebooted to clear the unopened Ableton icon. Does anyone have a clue what I should do next? Ableton support said to hold down the "alt" key when opening the program and that should work but that doesn't work either. Lastly, when I installed Ableton Live 8.01 from my original program CD, the older version opens and works fine. (Suite was purchased and downloaded from Ableton then upgraded to 8.2.6) Of course Suite files are way more advanced than Live 8.01 so most of them won't play properly. Anyway, any help, tips, suggestion or advice will be greatly appreciated. My new digital CD was supposed to be uploaded to my distributor last week but, I can't put the finishing touches on my tracks until I solve this problem. HELP! And thanks a lot in advance!
