Audio popping when changing scenes

I've been hearing some pops/glitches that happen about one 1/32 note prior to the scene changing. It won't pop when the clips loop back around, only when changing to a new scene, or if I re-launch the same scene. CPU is only at 37%
All clips are set to Fade and Hi-Q. All audio is warped in Complex mode. The set is moderately big (currently 11 tracks) but the project folder is only 1.79 GB
Audio buffer is set to 256 samples
Macbook Pro 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo // RAM: 8 GB 1067MHz DDR3
Any ideas?
