Missing VSTI's

Hi,

I reinstalled Windows 7 (64x) and reinstalled Ableton 8.2.6 + vsti plugins. Problem is that certain plugins (for example Camel Crusher) do not show up in the plugin list in Ableton, I rescanned a couple of times, made sure the folder when I installed the vsti's are writeable (c:\VST) and disabled UAC. Still no luck. A different problem which I think is related is that when I add my license file to the Devastator plugin it keeps "forgetting" the license file...

any idea's?

I am having the same issue. Some of my NI VSTi's are missing. I have just updated live and I am absolutely infuriated. Vsti's that do not show up is unacceptable.

So I troubleshooted the problem. The issue is live does not like 64bit VSTi. While I can spend time complaining I know this will probably go away with ableton live 9.
All my vsts are present now.

So the solution is to use 32bit vst's... I'll check this out tonight! Cheers for the answer!
