hey all, ive gotten quite good at live, but here are cetina things i can't figure out.

1. how can you edit audio in smaller increments that 1 or 1/2 bar? im trying to mess with these vocals and the eidtor is just not working the way i want it to, and i only ger a resolution choice of 1/2 bar when i select or highlight!
(im trying to edit the way i know from a DAW such as PT or cubase!)

2. some clips won't unroll.

3. i can't get impulse to play clips at the desired tempo/warp i set it to. when ever i drop a looped clip (such as a kick from a drum break) into impulse, it plays at the original bpm without the filter effects or anything else i did to it. (if anyone doesn't understand this question i can re-phraze it).

4. in impulse, how can i move a drum hit to another pad...i can't seem to figure it out!

thanks!

1. ctrl/apple + 1 = narrow grid, + 2 = widen grid, + 3 = triplet, + 4 = snap to grid.

2. :?:

3. :?: maybe try rendering your clip first before dropping it in impulse and play with decay/stretch.

4. not possible (yet?). you'll have to drop the sound from the browser on the other pad and delete the first.
