SO CAL / OC / LA - Where to find real collaborators ???

Hey guys, I live in the Anaheim / OC area and I'm starting to feel like I'm on an island!! None of my friends are interested in production, and I don't know one person who is truly interested in doing what it take to make it as a producer. Is there any one out there in so cal that's ready to get serious and work with some one who is serious as well? I need the inspiration of working with a partner these days, I'm having trouble finding the spark to finish songs, yes I have probably over 100 project files. A lot of these have real potential but its all going to waste.
Any one within 50 miles of OC/LA and actually serious about producing but need someone to bounce ideas off of? hit me up! I'll work with any genre at this point, I want to be around other people who want to make this happen.
Just to hopefully show you I'm not a complete waste of time here are two old tracks, not my best work, not even recent, but proof I actually use the program

Lets do this!! Or at least tell me where to meet other people.
Thanks

Hey Dave,
I'm in San Diego, we used to have a monthly "share" event where users would get together and make noise but it's on hiatus at the moment.
SD is a little farther than you were hoping but if you're interested in getting into a community that makes music, check out fawm.org - February Album Writing Month. Try to write 14 songs in 28 days. I'm kind of an evangelist for these guys, though I'm not on the payroll or anything. It's just encouraged me to write music with the help of a very supportive community for the last three years.
I'll post here if they start up the monthly get-together again.
Cheers,
-ix

Hey man sounds like your having the same problems as me haha my friends produce but they are too lazy and not pumping that much out. I don't live too far from you probably around the 50mile mark though located in north hollywood 91606. I produce electro house and pretty much working my way into dubstep. Got a few bangers and old songs on the soundcloud. Only been producing for a year now and I've made quite some progress. I just picked up 2 krk rm8s and running a macbook pro with dual monitors hit me up on here or soundcloud thanks!
