Does anyone know anywhere to get good swells, or know any good techniques for producing massive buildups with noise/fx?

That wave is epic! I am just wondering though, because I can't seem to get a good sound when mixing in noise swells.. any other advise besides actual water swells?

Mainly progressive house and trance.

Easy tip is just to reverse a sound, and paste that before the original, then add some reverb or delay to make the transition between the reverse build up and fade out more natural.

Thanks Erik. I do that a lot now. I also use the vengeance sample packs. I'm wondering how to thicken the swells out though, so they sound wider. Great website by the way! Do you offer any bundles for full album mastering?

You can widen things with simple delay. Switch it to time mode, set one channel to 1 ms and the other channel anywhere between 10 and 30 ms. Make sure you set it to 100% wet and put the feedback down to 0.

I think you might find this an interesting read: http://www.lostinmusik.net/?p=1952

No sorry, same price for everyone, no matter the number of tracks.

Excellent article. Anyone interested in this, plunk down the 1.50 for the live set, it's eye opening. Really cool.

Pretty sure charging by song for mastering is common practice. Works out better than an hourly rate. Don't remember seeing whole album deals, always by song from my experience.
