Is it possible? I have the arrangement with some automation, but if I want to play live the automation from arrangement messes it up. My song starts with a single instrument and it has an automation, so I play in session and I can't hear the first instrument as the cutoff is set to 0 at start. The problem is that if I stop the arrangement and want to play live, it does not automatically returns to the clip value but the automation changes the parameters depending where I stop the song.

Another big issue is that I have automation of an autofilter in the master chanel at some point in the song, so when the arrangement gets to that point when I'm playing in session view the automation spoils it.

Is possible to make the automation from arrangement unreadable? Like in Cubase, that you can choose to read it or not with the "R".

I am wondering if this is possible as well. If you arrange extensively in Live, this can easily become very, very annoying. If you are listening to the arrangement and it is passing through a section with automation, Live will remember the position of this automation when you hit stop. If you go to another section of the arrangement that has no automation and hit play, that parameter will still be stuck where it left off the last time you hit stop. This is so bizarre. In order to hear your song "clean" you actually have to have it play through a section that passes through an automation point that gets it back to the value you are looking for first, then go back and play the section you actually want to hear.

It would be nice if Live simply 100% obeyed wherever automation lines are currently at while playing, no matter what (i.e., it doesn't have to pass through an automation point to "wake" it up to pay attention to that parameter).
