Save as Or Save a Copy

Post by The Carpet Cleaner » Fri Dec 09, 2011 10:10 am

Hey guys.

Just wondering, after all this time, what's the real difference between Save as, and Save a Copy ... I just realised that I think they basically do the same exact thing... ?

no, "save a copy" enables you to save a copy into a different folder or project while the open set still remains at it's original location.

"save as" would have as a result that the open set becomes the newly saved one at a different location.

So "save a copy" is good when you want to back up different states of your set into a different project for example.
