Re-post, per recommendation from Technical Support.
Develop some kind of functionality to look over/search/whatever information about the MIDI clip. Meta-Data, a searchable field, something.

Searching Info Text
Re: Searching Info Text
+1
We're so used to text-searching everything now (Google, Command-F on web pages, OS X search) that this would put Live in line with expectations we have of a lot of other software.

Re: Searching Info Text
Yup. Particularly when considering the gobs and gobs of data that is entered via MID or audio files.
This absence of feature is one of the biggest reasons I have not laid down a lot of tracks with Ableton. Data management is so important in today's world of digital-ism. The thought of not being able to find a file from long ago, based upon the inability to search, is a real concern. Especially when one does not readily remember the exact nature of the file, only some attribute.
Loading up the Info Text with keywords is no problem, as I do that type of work for a living. Not being able to review the Info Text, in a structured manner, is a real problem.
