I was just wondering if sequencing a set of notes from an outboard synth (Access virusic class desktop module) is possible on Ableton? I am trying to construct a mix where I am layering various sounds together. I am finding it very difficult to layer my access virus synth notes with my Nexus2 synth notes (The nexus2 synth notes are already put in place and I need to match the same notes with my access virus synth). When notes are 1/16 or 1/32 apart, how am I suppose to hit these notes in perfect timing so I can layer them with my onboard synth (Nexus2)? Is there any way to load every voice from the Access virus patch into a midi clip so I can input each note where I want it?

Any reason you can't just send the same MIDI notes to both synths? Like, not two identical clips, but literally have one MIDI clip in Live, and route the MIDI from that to plugins and/or External Instrument devices?
