Session View - how (not) to trigger one shot samples?

I have had Live on and off for a few years but until now never used session view 8O , just arrangement view.

Having finally discovered it, I am having fun setting up some hardware to control it (Launchpad, Regelwerk and BCR2000).

At the moment I have my one shot samples in their own track so I can easily identify them and want to be able to fire them off manually. Can anyone suggest the best way to load one shot samples so that if they are in a scene with other clips and then with a scene launch they don't launch with the rest? They could obviously have there own scenes but this could make navigation a pain scrolling up and down the screen. Are there any tricks to overcome this? Am I missing something obvious?

I hope it makes sense.

Haha.
Main request from myself for years and years.
each clip should have the option to :

-select the scene when launched, or not.
-be launched with the scene, or not.

I'm glad it's not just me then :) Maybe even have a track option to stop the clips in it launching. I'm hoping someone will say that's what you do and here's how.

It'd be cool to be able to exclude individual clips or a whole track from scene launch triggers.

Yeah this is one reason I just can never setup a scene.
