What if Ableton Live wouldn't exist...?

Just curious...in a music, art, workflow, you name it, point of view... If Ableton ceased to exist for whatever reason, how would you adapt?

Well for the production side of things pretty much any other DAW. To replace session view, Maschine would do the job quite nicely (if they ever sort out time stretching). And for the DJ side of things Traktor would do it. Although I have to say its nice to have all three jobs done by one application.

Its funny that with about half of the options named, I wonder if those options would have existed if Live wasn't there.
There are things that may get close to Live. But if they were actually better, this place would be filled with tumbleweeds.
