How to reset live after the tragic death of a computer?

My motherboard died but all my ableton files survived on the internal hard drive however it looks like a big mess.What is the fastest/easiest way to recover all my custom racks,chains,instruments,presets?Is there a way to somehow recall the condition of the program right before the accident?

I can't give you a complete answer (since I don't know) but I can point out that your saved presets for racks/chains/instruments are just files (.ADG files I think). If you have the files then I belive you have your presets.

Yeah I guess so....Its interesting that some stuff was easy to find and some seemed to disappear forever....Still searching dough and Thanx!
